The German version of this legal notice and privacy policy is therefore the solely binding version. This English text is provided for convenience only. If you do not agree with this, you are free to leave this website.

We have concluded data protection and confidentiality agreements with all our subcontractors and partners to ensure compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.

Contracts cannot be concluded via this website. For this reason, we do not publish general terms and conditions (GTC).

General Information / Copyright

All information on this website reflects the current state of knowledge and technology. Changes are reserved.

Unless otherwise indicated, all pages on this website are protected by copyright. This applies in particular to texts, images, graphics, audio, video or animation files, including their arrangement on the website. Any reproduction or use of such pages (or parts thereof) in other electronic or printed publications and their publication (including on the internet) is only permitted with our prior written consent.

The reprint and evaluation of press releases and speeches is permitted with indication of the source (“Source: Bionic Laboratories BLG GmbH”). Permission for the publication of website content may be granted by the editorial office (see imprint).

Some images, graphics, text or other files may be subject in whole or in part to the copyright of third parties. All brand names and trademarks mentioned on this website and possibly protected by third parties are subject without restriction to the provisions of the applicable trademark law and the ownership rights of the respective registered owners. The mere mention of trademarks on this website shall not be construed as meaning that such trademarks are not protected by the rights of third parties.

Exclusion of Liability

Bionic Laboratories BLG GmbH has compiled and checked all information provided in its area of responsibility to the best of its knowledge and belief. Nevertheless, we do not assume any liability for the up-to-dateness, correctness, completeness, quality or constant availability of the information provided.

Without prejudice to the provisions of § 675 (2) of the German Civil Code (BGB), the following limitation of liability applies to the information provided on this website.

Limitation of Liability

Bionic Laboratories BLG GmbH and its employees shall not be liable for any damage arising from the use or non-use of the information provided on this website.

We also accept no liability for damage caused by computer viruses when accessing or downloading data, or by the installation or use of software.

Bionic Laboratories BLG GmbH expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the website or the entire offering without prior notice, or to temporarily or permanently discontinue publication.

Links and References (External Links)

Within the meaning of the applicable laws, we are responsible for our own content that we make available for use.

This own content must be distinguished from cross-references (“links”) to websites of other providers. By means of such links, Bionic Laboratories BLG GmbH merely provides access to external content.

By providing such links, we only facilitate access to the use of third-party content. We are not responsible for this external content, as we neither initiate the transmission of the information, nor select the receiver of the information, nor select or modify the transmitted information. Due to the chosen calling and linking method, no automatic, temporary intermediate storage of this external information takes place, so that no responsibility of Bionic Laboratories BLG GmbH for this external content arises as a result.

When the links to external websites were first created, the editorial office of Bionic Laboratories BLG GmbH checked the external content to determine whether it might give rise to any civil or criminal liability. As soon as we become aware, or are informed by others, that a concrete offering to which we have provided a link gives rise to civil or criminal liability, we will remove the link to this offering without undue delay, insofar as this is technically possible and reasonable.

The respective provider of the linked page is solely liable for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and in particular for damages arising from the use or non-use of information provided by third parties, not the party who merely refers to the publication via links.

  • the date and time of the request
  • the amount of data transmitted
  • the access status (file transmitted, file not found, etc.)

In all such cases (orders, newsletters, feedback, forums) the personal data provided (in particular name and email address) will be processed only for the purpose of sending the requested publications or information, or for other purposes explicitly stated in the respective form, and will not be passed on to third parties.

Privacy Policy pursuant to the GDPR

Name and Address of the Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other national data protection laws is:

Bionic Laboratories BLG GmbH
Mr. Bruemmer
Spessartstr. 13
64859 Eppertshausen
Germany

Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

The controller decides alone or jointly with others on the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, contact details or similar).

Withdrawal of Your Consent to Data Processing

Certain data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. For this purpose, an informal email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of data processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected.

Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

In the event of any breach of data protection law, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection matters is the data protection commissioner of the federal state in which our company is established. A list of data protection commissioners and their contact details can be found (in German) at:
https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract, in a commonly used, machine-readable format, and to have this data transmitted to yourself or to a third party. Where you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done where technically feasible.

SSL / TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” address line of your browser and by the lock symbol in the browser bar.

Data that you transmit to us via this website cannot be read by third parties when SSL/TLS encryption is active.

Server Log Files

The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

These data are not combined with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

YouTube and Other Media Providers

For the integration and display of video content, our website uses plugins of YouTube. The provider of the video portal is:

YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

When you visit a page with an integrated YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. YouTube is thereby informed which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can directly associate your browsing behaviour with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account before visiting our website.

The use of YouTube is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offerings and constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

For details on the handling of user data, please refer to YouTube’s privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that your web browser stores on your device. Cookies help us to make our website more user-friendly, efficient and secure.

Some cookies are “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted at the end of your browser session. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

With a modern web browser, you can monitor, restrict or prevent the setting of cookies. Many browsers can be configured so that cookies are automatically deleted when the program is closed. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

The setting of cookies that are necessary for the performance of electronic communication processes or for the provision of certain functions requested by you (e.g. shopping cart) is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of our services. Where other cookies (e.g. for analytics purposes) are set, these are described separately in this privacy policy.

Google Analytics

Our website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is:

Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses “cookies”, small text files stored on your device that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the USA.

The setting of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise our web offering and, where applicable, our advertising.

IP Anonymisation

We use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation. This ensures that Google shortens your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website and internet usage to us as the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full.

Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Objection to Data Collection

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on an appropriate opt-out link (if implemented on our website). An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website.

For details on the handling of user data by Google Analytics, please refer to Google’s privacy policy:
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Data Processing Agreement

In order to fully comply with the statutory data protection requirements, we have concluded a data processing agreement with Google.

Demographic Features in Google Analytics

Our website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows the creation of reports that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. These data come from interest-based advertising by Google and visitor data from third-party providers. The data cannot be assigned to a specific person.

You may disable this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or, in general, prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described under “Objection to data collection”.

For any questions regarding this legal notice or our privacy policy, please contact us.
